WindPoem project CDs feature instrumentals performed on handmade Native American flutes, crafted from wood, bamboo, and one even from PVC. Random percussion instruments, including a Hapi hang drum, are featured on some of the cuts, and, in keeping with tradition, nature sounds provide occasional background ambiance. These tunes are not, for the most part, of standard melody construct, although some come close. These tunes are sound meditations for use as background during general activities or to enhance meditative exercises. Above all, each instrumental is presented in the hope of providing the listener with respite from the growing cacophony of modern life.
